Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry

- 1 pound of flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of fresh ginger, minced
- 1 head of broccoli, cut into florets
- 1/4 cup of low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes (optional)
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the beef and cook until it is browned, about 5 minutes.
- Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute.
- Add the broccoli and cook for 3 minutes.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Pour the sauce over the beef and broccoli and stir to combine.
- Cook for an additional 2 minutes, or until the sauce is thickened and the broccoli is tender.
