Ingredients:

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

Instructions:

  1. In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, garlic, parsley, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Lay shrimp out on a cutting board. Using a small spoon, stuff each shrimp with the cream cheese mixture. Set aside.
  3. In a shallow bowl, combine flour and panko bread crumbs. Mix until well combined.
  4. Dip each stuffed shrimp into the flour mixture, coating both sides. Shake off any excess flour.
  5. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the shrimp to the skillet. Fry for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Remove shrimp from the skillet and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
  7. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
