  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 2 cups cooked white rice


  1. In a shallow bowl, combine the cornstarch and chicken cubes. Toss to coat.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the vegetable oil. Add the chicken cubes and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the sesame oil, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir to coat.
  4. Add the green onions and sesame seeds and cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Serve the sesame chicken over cooked white rice.
