“Spicy Udon Stir Fry: A 10-Minute Meal”


– 2 packs of Udon noodles
– 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
– 2 cloves of garlic, minced
– 1/2 teaspoon of chili flakes
– 1/2 cup of frozen mixed vegetables
– 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
– 2 tablespoons of sesame oil
– 2 tablespoons of mirin
– 2 tablespoons of sugar
– 2 tablespoons of water


1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the Udon noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and chili flakes and cook for 1 minute.

3. Add the frozen mixed vegetables and cook for 2 minutes.

4. Add the cooked Udon noodles and stir to combine.

5. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, mirin, sugar, and water. Pour the mixture over the noodles and vegetables and stir to combine.

6. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the noodles are cooked through and the sauce has thickened.

7. Serve hot and enjoy!
