– 2 pounds ground beef
– 1 large onion, diced
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
– 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
– 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
– 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed
– 1 (4 ounce) can diced green chilies
– 2 tablespoons chili powder
– 1 teaspoon ground cumin
– 1 teaspoon dried oregano
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic until the beef is browned and the onion is softened, about 8 minutes. Drain off any excess fat.

2. Transfer the beef mixture to a slow cooker. Add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, kidney beans, black beans, green chilies, chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Stir to combine.

3. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours.

4. Serve with your favorite toppings, such as shredded cheese, sour cream, diced onions, and jalapenos. Enjoy!
