Rum Cake

This classic rum cake is a moist and delicious dessert that is perfect for any occasion. The rum glaze adds a unique flavor that will have your guests asking for seconds.

Ingredients:

– 1 box yellow cake mix
– 1/2 cup vegetable oil
– 4 eggs
– 1/2 cup dark rum
– 1/2 cup water
– 1/2 cup butter
– 1/2 cup white sugar
– 1/4 cup dark rum
– 1/4 cup water

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 10 inch Bundt pan.
2. In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix, oil, eggs, 1/2 cup rum, and 1/2 cup water. Beat until smooth. Pour batter into prepared pan.
3. Bake in preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
4. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in sugar, 1/4 cup rum, and 1/4 cup water. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 5 minutes.
5. Remove cake from oven and poke holes in the top with a fork. Pour rum glaze over the top of the cake. Allow cake to cool before serving.
