Chocolate Mousse
This classic French dessert is a light and airy chocolate mousse that is sure to please any chocolate lover. It is easy to make and requires only a few ingredients.
Ingredients:
* 4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate
* 2 tablespoons butter
* 2 tablespoons sugar
* 2 eggs, separated
* 1/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions:
1. Melt the chocolate and butter in a double boiler over low heat.
2. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar.
3. Beat the egg yolks and add to the chocolate mixture.
4. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
5. Fold the egg whites into the chocolate mixture.
6. Whip the cream until stiff peaks form.
7. Fold the cream into the chocolate mixture.
8. Spoon the mousse into individual serving dishes.
9. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
