“Healthy and Delicious Butter Chicken: A Low-Calorie Recipe”

Ingredients:

– 2 tablespoons olive oil

– 1 onion, diced

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 teaspoon ground ginger
– 1 teaspoon ground cumin
– 1 teaspoon ground coriander
– 1 teaspoon garam masala
– 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
– 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
– 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
– 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
– 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
– 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
– 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
– 2 tablespoons tomato paste
– 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
– 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
– Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions:

1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened, about 5 minutes.

2. Add ginger, cumin, coriander, garam masala, turmeric, chili powder, cardamom, and cinnamon and cook, stirring constantly, until fragrant, about 1 minute.

3. Add tomatoes, chicken broth, yogurt, and tomato paste and stir to combine. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.

4. Add chicken and cook, stirring occasionally, until cooked through, about 10 minutes.

5. Stir in cilantro and season with salt and pepper, to taste.

6. Serve over cooked basmati rice or with naan bread. Enjoy!
