Snickerdoodle Cookie Cake

Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and 2 cups of sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, alternating with the sour cream. Beat until just blended.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan. In a small bowl, combine the remaining 1/2 cup of sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Sprinkle the mixture over the top of the cake.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before turning out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
