– 1 cup butter, softened
– 1 cup white sugar
– 1 cup packed brown sugar
– 2 eggs
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon baking soda
– 1 teaspoon baking powder
– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 3 cups quick-cooking oats


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
3. Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt; stir into the creamed mixture. Mix in the oats.
4. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
5. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until golden brown. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
